Our Junior School offers a broad and balanced curriculum that allows learners to develop academically, practically, creatively, and socially.

Key learning areas include English, Kiswahili, Mathematics, Integrated Science, Health Education, Pre-Technical Studies, Social Studies, Religious Education, Business Studies, Agriculture, Life Skills Education, Sports and Physical Education, Visual Arts, Performing Arts, and Computer Science.

Through these learning areas, learners gain knowledge and practical skills while exploring their interests and talents.

Character, Values, and Citizenship

Our Junior School places strong emphasis on values and character formation. Learners are guided to practise respect, responsibility, honesty, empathy, discipline, cooperation, patriotism, and care for the environment.

Through daily interactions, class activities, mentorship, leadership opportunities, and community engagement, learners develop a strong sense of identity and responsibility. We aim to raise learners who are not only academically capable, but also ethical, compassionate, and ready to contribute positively to society.

Preparing Learners for Senior School


Junior School helps learners begin to understand their strengths, interests, talents, and possible future pathways. Through exposure to different learning areas, practical activities, talent development, mentorship, and guidance, learners are supported as they prepare for Senior School. This stage gives them opportunities to explore what they enjoy, identify areas where they excel, and develop the skills and confidence needed to make meaningful progress.


Learners are encouraged to take part in academic, creative, technical, physical, and social activities that help them discover their abilities and build a clearer sense of direction. Teachers guide them to reflect on their learning, set personal goals, improve their study habits, and understand the importance of responsibility, discipline, and positive decision-making.


Our goal is to help each learner make informed choices, develop self-awareness, and build the confidence needed for the next stage of education. By nurturing their interests and supporting their growth, we prepare learners to transition successfully into Senior School and continue developing as capable, responsible, and future-ready individuals.

Competency-Based Learning in Action

In our Junior School, learning goes beyond memorising facts. Learners participate in discussions, experiments, group tasks, presentations, projects, research, creative work, practical demonstrations, and problem-solving activities.

Teachers guide learners to connect classroom knowledge with everyday life. Whether they are conducting a science investigation, creating artwork, using digital tools, participating in sports, growing plants, presenting ideas, or working in teams, learners are encouraged to think, create, communicate, and reflect.

This approach helps learners become active participants in their own learning journey.

Digital Literacy and Innovation

Digital literacy is an important part of the CBE curriculum. Our learners are introduced to technology as a tool for learning, creativity, research, communication, and problem-solving.

Through guided use of digital tools, learners build confidence in using technology responsibly and productively. They are encouraged to explore innovation, coding, research, presentations, and digital projects that prepare them for a changing world.
